Casa Colibri Chirripo

Casa Colibri Chirripo is a warm wooden house in nature near the Chirripo trailhead, SINAC office, small shops, restaurants, and Cloudbridge Reserve. It works especially well before or after a Cerro Chirripo hike: luggage storage is available during the climb, and post-checkout showers may be available for a small fee. Fresh fruit from the farm and house coffee are a real part of the stay, not just decoration. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped, with plenty of room to cook properly, and the terrace looks out toward mountains, forest, gardens, and birdlife. The river access is a standout. It gives the place an easy cooldown after hiking and adds a quiet, outdoorsy social layer without turning the hostel into a party house. Expect a clean, cozy, detail-rich place with comfortable beds, helpful hosts, a lounge/library feel, games or books around, and a calm hiker atmosphere.
