Prama Beach Guest House by The Loka

I’m disappointed to say that my experience was far below expectations due to a serious issue of bed bugs. I was here for 2 nights and was severely bitten by bed bugs which is impacting the rest of short stay in Bali. I had my suspicions the first night having woken up with about 5 small bites on my back. But on the 2nd night, i woke up at 3am itching, covered in inflamed bites along my back, arms and legs (see photos, it has worsened since this photo was taken). This immediately impacted my comfort, safety, and peace of mind. I reported it to staff, but the situation left me feeling distressed and severely irritated by the bites. For a hotel at this price point, basic cleanliness and proper pest control should be non-negotiable. Bed bugs are a serious concern and can easily spread and cause further infestation if not handled properly. I ended up throwing out my clothes that made contact with the bed. This experience has not only been a shock but also pricey in seeking treatment and a replacement of my belongings. I hope management takes this seriously, addresses the issue promptly, and ensures future guests don’t have to go through the same experience. Until then, I unfortunately cannot recommend staying here.
