Este es un lugar que no recomiendo para visitar ni mucho menos hospedar. Estuve como voluntaria allí por 3 días (no aguante más) los colchones están llenos de la peor plaga Chinches qué no permiten que tengas un buen descanso. Adicional la cantidad de moscas, cucarachas y mal mantenimiento de las instalaciones. Esto lo hablo tanto para el que quiere ir a hospedarse como para el que quiere ir a hacer un voluntariado. El desayuno precario sin fruta solo fritos el almuerzo sin bebida y también solo fritos. No garantizan agua potable para el consumo natural dicen que tiene filtro y no se tiene registro de cambio de filtros.

Freedom Beach Club sits right on the sand in the quieter end of Playa Blanca, with sea views, beach beds, loungers, hammocks, and a front-row setup for sunrise, sunset, and lazy hours by the water. It suits a simple beach reset more than a polished resort rhythm: barefoot, close to the sea, and easy to settle into when the basics are working. The strongest version of the place is social but relaxed. There can be music, board games, yoga, dance, snorkeling masks, and a paddle board, plus photo-friendly corners and a small beach-club feel. The restaurant and bar can be useful if you do not want to roam for meals, and the food, cocktails, breakfast, and cold beer land well in the better moments. Staff energy is a major part of the appeal, especially when Fabian, Alvaro, Cindy, Jean Pierre, Miguel, or Jaime are helping with transport, lost items, room issues, or just making the place feel warmer. Rooms are simple; a few have terraces or ocean views, and the best setup is waking up close enough to hear the sea.
Signals to check
- Running water can be unreliable, with bucket showers or pump requests possible; electricity and fans can also be limited.
- Arrival needs planning: the place can be far from parking, beach walking with bags is awkward, and boat transfer details should be locked in early.
- Cleanliness and maintenance can swing hard, including towel gaps, room issues, insects, and bathroom problems.
- The beach edge can be rocky or full of coral, while daytime boats, jet skis, vendors, nearby loud music, and flies can interrupt the calm.
- Service can be slow, and card fees, tips, food safety, reservation handling, or billing should be checked carefully.
