Cet hotel au charme désuet n'était pas pour nous déplaire face à la mer. Mais notre chambre qui annonçait une belle soirée a été quelque peu décevante, pas de clim à l'étage. Bon, nous avons malgré tout tenter mais après des journées très chaudes en ce moment c'était une étuve et vu que les fenêtres, nous en avions 2, mais d'une largeur de 50 cm avec moustiquaire et donnant sur le couloir et la salle de repos donc si nous voulions de l'intimité c'était rideaux fermés. Impossible à tenir. J'ai donc ouvert la porte de notre chambre 5 min pour faire rentrer un peu d'air. Mais la nuit, j'ai été prise de grattements intenses. Le lendemain, ayant repris la route, je me suis arrêtée en pharmacie et ils m'ont dit que c'était probablement des punaises de lit. Donc, il est d'intérêt public à vérifier ce fait car cela est une sacrée nuisance. Pas de porte bagages d'oncles valises étaient au sol sur le parquet et le lit est entouré d'un immense tapis. Donc cachette probable pour les punaises. Je ne remets absolument pas en cause le personnel mais un contrôle s'impose. Et il est vrai que je n'ai jamais été piquée de la sorte dans mes nombreux voyages, tout pays confondus. Voir plus haut.

Okay. Let's just get down to it... yes, there is no AC and yes, there is no hot water. However, I didn't mind because I came here to scuba dive. So for me it worked out. I actually enjoyed the lack of hot water because it was refreshing after baking out in the heat and humidity. The room was hot but I was so exhausted from diving I passed out. The breakfast is great and the staff is friendly. The beds are clean with no signs of bed bugs (trust me... I ALWAYS check). There was some big @$$ ants running around but we didn't bother each other.
Vibe Analysis
Beach chairs, bodyboards, and even a skateboard may be available to borrow, which gives this little beach house a more playful edge than its basic rooms suggest. The beach is just across the street, with restaurants, shops, and the main road close enough for easy walking. Staff can be warm and helpful, with Caesar standing out in the day-to-day hospitality. A common kitchen, fridge access, filtered water, parking, and occasional room fridges or sinks add practical value, but facilities vary by room.
