This is better for travelers who like a homey Mendoza base than for anyone hunting a slick party machine. The social life seems casual and table-sized: people cooking, hanging around the patio, joining a barbecue, getting bike or excursion advice, then going out into wine country with a softer landing pad behind them. The building is older and not every room matches the charm. Noise carries, some beds and bathrooms need love, and a few rooms sound cave-like or too exposed to common areas.
