On arrival one of the signs says they check the beds for stains before you’re allowed to leave and must pay if there is any found. After a quick check there was stains, not only was there stains there was bed bugs visibly crawling around the top of the bed. Staff had already left the building so we were unable to change rooms so stayed up all night to which we found bed bugs on us in the morning. That gave us a full refund and told us to get somewhere else to stay. They were aware of this before

Bed bugs everywhere, I had so many bites all over my body after leaving. They refunded the nights that we had left but refused to pay for our laundry and were rude about it which is unacceptable. They tried to blame us for the bed bugs even though we found eggs in the mattress seams. Their argument for this was that the room had been empty for a month which is ridiculous as bed bugs can live for many months without feeding.

This hostel was ok - good location but my friend woke up from this hostel with bed bug bites ALL over her. They refunded us two nights which was nice of them but then refused to contribute to all the washing of our clothes that we had to do. Just be careful before you book!

We were throughly impressed with our stay until my partner woke up to find some bed bugs joining her in her sleep! Other than that, the facilities were great and everything was clean, and there was enough atmosphere to be pleasant but could have been better! Really good location too! Just beware that you may be joined in your sleep🪳

Vibe Analysis
Bed & Bike Hostel is a clean, modern hostel in a very central spot, with easy access to the bus station, the night market, shops, and restaurants. Private rooms can be spacious, and some include a balcony. There is a kitchen, free drinking water, and a pool table. The hostel has a practical, well-kept feel. Bathrooms are often clean, and some floors have gender-separated facilities. Lighting, air-con, fans, and bed curtains show up in a number of rooms, and the shared spaces include both downstairs and upstairs areas. Room size varies a lot. Some rooms are comfortable and roomy, while others are very small, windowless, or tight for luggage. Noise can carry from the street, nearby bars, the common area, or inside the building, so lighter sleepers may want to choose carefully.
