I was disappointed with the bed assignment. Although better beds were available, I was given one directly under a low ceiling beam, which was uncomfortable and cramped. Later, I noticed that guests who arrived after me were assigned those better spots. Without any explanation, this felt unfair. There were also mosquitoes or bedbugs in the room, and I was bitten. Overall, the stay was less comfortable than expected.

BED BUGS / PUNAISES DE LIT I've been bitten more than 150 times by bedbugs in this hostel (see pictures). I've had to buy antihistamines and cream, but they're not even enough because the bites are so itchy. It's constant and I can hardly sleep at all. I stayed in the hostel for several days without realizing what the problem was. The day before I left, I saw an insect on the wall next to my bed, but I didn't know what a bedbug looked like. I slept very badly too, often waking up itching. I just thought I was having a bad sleep. On the 18th, I woke up again with an itch that wouldn't stop. This time, when I get up, I discover red bites all over my body. Nothing to do with mosquitoes. I do some research and realize that the previous day's insect was indeed a bedbug. When I ask the manager about it, she denies everything and tells me it's mosquitoes. I tell her no, that I know my body, and that my mosquito bites don't look like that. She tells me I have to take pictures of the bug when I see it... I tell her I'm going to wash all my clothes, and she asks me to take the bedding with me. Too kind, I agree. When I unmade my bed, I found a live bedbug (see photo). I show her the proof she's been asking for. She climbs on my bed saying "I don't see any, I don't see any", even though I've just shown her the photo taken on THIS bed. Then she practically threw me out. I could barely take a shower. I've spent the whole day looking for ways to disinfect my things, and I've spent over 1,500 baht on insecticide, washing powder, medicines... And I'm still going to have to buy a stronger cream, because my pot is already almost empty, I've got so many bites. The next morning, I return calmly. The manager's first comment: "You've already checked out", in the style of "what are you doing here?". I tell her that I just want to talk about the problem, and that the bites keep coming. She doesn't care. I even offer to show her my body so she can see the extent of the problem, but she dodges. And then she tells me that I'm the one who brought the bedbugs here, and that I'm the only reason she has to wash the sheets at the hostel... Even though I've seen a doctor who's confirmed that it's IMPOSSIBLE, given the number of bites I've had. I've also spoken to another person in the hostel who's also been stung, so once again, it's not coming from me. I can understand it happening in a hostel. But the way it was handled is unacceptable. Denying, blaming guests and not even offering a refund is shameful. By far my worst hostel experience in Thailand. When you run an establishment, you handle this kind of problem properly and don't put the blame on the customers.

Very bad! This place smells of weeds and also infested with bedbugs! Not sure how they get so much good reviews but honestly this place is not worth your money to stay here!! Although the hostel owner is kind but the hygiene and living conditions is very poor! I got many bites and allergy reactions because of this!! Keep away from here!!🫨🫨🫨🫨

I hate to say anything negative because the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful (although seemed over worked). They kept my luggage over night for me for free since I stayed there. However, this hostel is dirty, the bathrooms have questionable piping and there are products from other people left everywhere. There is no air conditioning, but you do get your own fan. There is a balcony, but it is taken over by long term guests who have their desktop computers set up there to watch YouTube videos all day (work?). I also left this place with bed bug bites.
