El Caite Hostel

We were shocked to notice bed bugs in our private room. We notified a member of staff that night but he dismissed it immediately, saying it wasn't bed bugs. We changed hostels that night and spoke with new members of staff the following morning who still tried to charge us for the night. Extremely disappointing.

•• BED BUGS •• My friends and I booked a stay in their air conditioned dorm and when we all woke up we were covered in bites. One of my friends in particular had over 40 bites all over her body, it was horrible. We’ve never experienced anything like this and when we told the workers about the bugs they were completely rude to us and fighting us saying it’s our fault and that their hostel is “bug free.” LIES because I have a video of the bed bugs we found on the bed! They said they could give us another bed

My bed had bed bugs and when we told them they moved us to another room with bed bugs. They did wash all my stuff for free but still wasn't a great experience.
