Vibe Analysis
Collection O VResotel is a low-price, older hotel-style stay with very spacious rooms, working air conditioning, roomy bathrooms, and an elevator. It can feel fairly quiet because it sits tucked inside a courtyard behind a larger hotel, despite being near overpasses and busy roads. The practical setup is stronger than the social scene. There is a large parking lot, and food is close by: Tonsak Market, a large evening food court, 7-Eleven, KFC, Tops, laundry, and other local services are within a short walk. Phra Nang Klao Bridge MRT on the Purple Line is about five minutes away across the main road. Rooms may be clean and good value, with decent showers and linens, but the building is dated. Fixtures are old, plaster may be peeling, and there may be no kettle inside the room, though one may be available at reception for common use.
Signals to check
- This is far from central Bangkok, so taxis and tolls can get expensive.
- Insects are a real concern, including cockroaches in rooms and mosquitoes when the air conditioning is switched off.
- Service can be weak, especially around refunds, laundry questions, and room problems.
- The property signage may be unclear, which can make arrival confusing.
- Some beds may be very hard, and room fridges may shut off when the room power is off.
