The shared kitchen is the core feature. It gets called huge, well equipped, beautifully organized, and one of the best kitchens of entire trips. People also mention chill common areas, games, books, hammocks, laundry, breakfast or fruit bowls, coffee/eggs/drinks for purchase, and enough space to either talk to people or sit quietly with a book. Location depends on what you came for. The beach is very close, often described as a two-to-five minute walk or just across the road. The main surf break or busier strip is farther, with several stays putting it around 15 to 30 minutes on foot, so surfers without wheels should plan for that. The main practical warning is road noise, especially rooms toward the front. A few stays also mention power or water cuts, mosquitoes, firm beds, basic rooms, or certain room types feeling small or bright/noisy. Pick a room toward the back if sleep is sacred.
