I bed bug bites from this hotel!! When I discussed it with the manager, he said the head of housekeeping checked the room during the day (a 2 minute check) and couldn't see any. Bed bugs come out at night! He asked if I would like a coffee by means as some sort of apology. I have tried to contact the hotel to discuss this matter and they have chosen not to reply.

This place is ideal for backpackers. It’s 2 minutes from the city’s entertainment area ( bars and restaurants). However, I would not recommend this place to if you are traveling with your significant other or if you want to sleep comfortable. The reason I say this is because the staff is not great with customer service. For example, the receptionist was not able to help me on how to get a taxi or show me where I could iron my clothes as the hotel room does not include an iron. Additionally we found bugs in the bed and the shower is literally infront of the toilet with no curtain so when you take a shower, the toilet will be all wet. If you are willing to pay 15 dlls more, I would 100% recommend the Navalai resort. I stayed there when I first arrived and regretted not staying there as the customer service is so much better and the room is so much cleaner.

I used to stay here because of the good location, reasonable price and nice rooftop pool until one particularly terrible bedbug plauged night, which the Chinese Thai management refused to do anything about, let alone compensate or simply apologize to me.

I honestly don't like to give bad reviews because at the end of the day it is someone's bottom line but upon arrival I checked the bed as I always do and found a bedbug crawling on the mattress. They did let us switch rooms and out us in another part of the hotel that seemed fine upon inspection The beds are quite hard and the rooms very basic but you get what you pay for.

Zona iperturistica e abbiamo trovato delle cimici da letto nel letto. Ci hanno subito cambiato stanza ma cmq non lo consiglierei.

Unfreundliches Personal, Zimmer trotz höchster Kategorie sehr klein (kein Schrank o.ä. vorhanden) und nicht wirklich sauber (hatten Bettwanzen in Matratze). Insgesamt sehr laut, wurden an allen drei Tagen um 7:30 durch die Putzfrau im Gang/Nebenzimmern geweckt. Fazit: nie wieder & nicht zu empfehlen

Vibe Analysis
A rooftop pool gives a place to cool off after the heat, and the front courtyard with trees and a koi pond takes some edge off the street outside. The location is strong: close to Khao San Road, the river area, shops, bars, and food, while still tucked back enough to feel less exposed to the busiest stretch. Rooms are basic and often feel old. Beds can be hard, pillows and linens can be worn, and the air conditioning is often loud or awkward to control. Sound carries easily through the building, and certain rooms are dark or face a wall or narrow gap. Breakfast is available and can be decent, though quality and price do not always line up. Service can be warm or abrupt depending on the moment, and the bathroom setup is simple, with some showers wetting the whole floor.
