Could have rated higher if it weren't for a couple of things. Check-In time is 4:00 PM, and you can't check in earlier (nobody is there). I had bed bugs and was given another bed in another room the next day. Cleaning crew not very friendly.

Unfortunately, I noticed a couple of bed bugs on my pillow, which was gross (I wish I could attach the videos but here are some screenshots). I don’t know if it was the pillow or the mattress that’s been infested but I had to sleep without a pillow that night. They need to check every bed to detect any infestation. Also, maybe because the building was old, you could clearly hear people walking on the upper floor.

Vibe Analysis
Cuba Bar & Hostel is basically a bar with rooms above it, close to the city centre and within walking distance of the station. The downstairs bar can be a plus if cheap drinks, Budvar on draft, and a late place to sit are part of the plan. The rooms are mixed in quality: some are clean, simple, spacious, or recently renovated, while others feel older, hot under the roof, poorly darkened, or short on privacy. A shared kitchen is available and can be well equipped, but cleanliness in the kitchen and bathrooms is inconsistent. This is a rough fit for light sleepers. Noise from the bar, street smokers, shared kitchen, thin walls, and other people in the building can run late, especially around weekends. Check-in is tied to the bar setup, usually from late afternoon, so early luggage drop or quick staff help may be unreliable.
