I got bed bugs the first night

There are bed bugs in this hostel!!! So do not go there. It is really sad because the hostel itself is nice and the staff is very friendly but the bed bugs are a big no for me!

Rough. Would not recommend. Dirty, bed bug infestation, mattresses no different to gym mats and weird vibes overall. Wanted to leave earlier but had paid the money so stuck with it - on my final night left my room at 4am as I couldn’t do it any longer. Shower is hot and good pressure though. Cheers.

Nous avons eu des punaises de lit. Nous avons due laver toute nos affaires, nous avons donc demandé à ce que la laverie soit remboursée par l’hostel (ce qui a été fait). Le personnel est resté très gentil.

The hostel is centrally located in Lapa, making it a convenient and relatively safe area to stay. However, the kitchen was poorly equipped, with outdated utensils and limited fridge space. Unfortunately, I experienced bed bugs during my stay, but the staff were kind and promptly moved me to another room without any issues. Cleanliness could definitely be improved — the pillows were quite dirty and had an unpleasant smell, and the overall room hygiene left a lot to be desired. Breakfast was basic

It’s cheap for Rio and it’s well located in a nice neighborhood near Centro. There’s a lot to do around. The hostel itself is alright, it has good breakfast, it has a bit of a hippie vibe, the staff isn’t so helpful except for the owner. The facilities need maintenance and the place is not so clean. Plenty of mosquitoes and there are bed bugs. It’s on a hill but that’s fine.
