Property does not look like the photos, poorly maintained, not the cleanest, room smelt very bad of damp, no windows in the room, my clothes and everything smells of damp from being in there- unfortunately it was NYE so no other rooms available, I heard 2 people complaining about bed bugs while I was there, showers have no hot water.

Vibe Analysis
Each dorm bed is its own enclosed wooden pod with a curtain, a reading light, a power outlet, and a small security box built right into the space. That setup gives you a private, lockable nook to sleep and charge your phone, and several beds are genuinely comfortable, with some dorms even fitting double beds that work well for couples. The trade-off is that a closed pod can get hot when the air conditioning is off. The location is a consistent strong point: central Bangkok in the Ekkamai area, with a 7-Eleven right out front, malls and restaurants within an easy walk, the BTS roughly 10-20 minutes on foot, and the airport not far. Free drinking water refills from a dispenser are available, and there's a rooftop where you can hang and dry clothes. Electronic key cards for the building and rooms add a reassuring layer of security. Staff lean friendly and helpful much of the time, and one reception person, Nathan, stands out, with the owner coming across as kind. This isn't universal, though: the team can seem tired, unhelpful, or hard to communicate with in English, and some staff appear to live on site. Be ready for cats. One or more roam freely, sometimes onto tables and seats, and a strong cat odor turns up at times, which matters if you have allergies. Getting in and out is also a workout: the entrance involves steep, sometimes spiral stairs that are awkward and even precarious with heavy luggage, though staff may help carry bags. The biggest recurring frustration is that the place looks older and more worn than its photos. Cleanliness is uneven, with damp, musty smells, mold on ceilings, and a generally dim, dated feel cropping up repeatedly, alongside scattered pests (a dead roach, ants, and possibly bed bugs). Showers are often dated, with hot water unreliable or absent, and the air conditioning is sometimes switched off during midday hours, which made at least one room unbearably hot overnight.

- The entrance uses steep, sometimes spiral stairs that are difficult and precarious with heavy luggage, though staff may help.

- The building can be hard to find, with little signage, and sits above a BBQ restaurant.
- Staff friendliness and English ability vary, ranging from warm and helpful to tired or hard to communicate with.
