Sun Inns Hotel D'Mind 2 is a bare-bones budget hotel with useful access rather than hostel energy. The strongest fit is a short, price-sensitive stop near The Mines, MIECC, UPM, highways, MRT access, restaurants, shops, mamak food, 7-Eleven, and KK Mart. Laundry is available in the hotel, including on the ground floor, which is the clearest practical perk. Rooms can be simple and passable for budget travel, with cold air-con and strong shower pressure possible, but the room quality seems uneven. Expect a low-frills setup. TV channels, Wi-Fi, water filters, kettles, hangers, room phones, towels, housekeeping, and maintenance may be unreliable or missing.
