We booked our stay 2 weeks ago and the hostel executive informed us on the day itself that Hello, this is Bao hostel Kutaisi, we are sorry to inform you that we just found bed bug in room you booked and we have no other available rooms, we have to close room for cleaning few days and cancel all reservations for this room. Very sorry for late notice but its first time happened and we just got told about it. Unexpected attitude and situation with no possible resolution. Highly disappointed

Lovingly decorated and great amenities (with curtains, shelves, and power outlets in the dorm). Unfortunately, I got bitten by bed bugs, and noticed it too late. I was able to treat my clothes in the dryer, and the host told me that he will take care of the problem. Although statistically this happens in almost every hotel/hostel at some point, for me personally it was an unpleasant and paranoid experience.

Found a bedbug in my bed, I did tell the owner and sent them a photo and he said he’d replace the mattress, but who knows. Also the mattress was really worn and slumped in.

Not even 30 minutes of sleep and I started feeling itchiness on my back, I check around and found a bed bug. I got three bites and after this I decided to sleep at the living room on a chair, very uncomfortable.
