Kadangyan by 3BU Hostel feels more like a modern, quiet rest base than a party hostel. The building has a clean minimalist style, open common areas with natural light, a cafe on the ground floor, and a relaxed setup that works for downtime after long days around La Union. The dorm design has unusually practical details: bed lights, outlets, mirrors, privacy curtains, partial wood barriers, large lockers with mirrors, and even a changing room with hooks. That makes the shared-room setup feel more private and less awkward than a basic bunk room. There is a pool, though access may not always match expectations. The place also has fast internet in at least one account, good security, and a quiet feel despite being in a busy neighborhood. Food leans vegan-friendly, especially pasta and rice meals, so the cafe may be better for plant-based eating than for meat-heavy options. Location is useful for transport, 7-11, Caltex parking, the public market, banks, a night food market, and Ma-Cho Taoist Temple. Beach plans need a bit of realism: Pagdaraoan is nearby, but San Juan surf beaches and other swim spots may need a jeepney or trike.
