Collins Hotel

I travelled the world and this hotel is the worst 3 star hotel ever seen. I'm not sure how this can be considered 3 stars with holes on the wall, damaged doors, no working bathroom air extractor , rusted wall lamps and hinges, on top of bad cleaning, causing the presence of bedbugs. See photo attached of the bedbug we found and photos of rusted items and holes in the wall.

We found bed bugs which bit us up. Our vacation was a mess at that point. Had to up root and leave . Now out stuff could have bugs and who knows take it home. I only got a refund for the remaining days ,where I should have gotten all of my money back. Had to inconvenience myself getting a new hotel which I didn't budget for. I couldn't attend the event I came for . Upset my friend which I invited got bitten my bed bugs. How said would never recommend that hotel or booking.com

You've heard the saying... you get what you pay for. Don't go in with the mindset that you are staying at a 5 star hotel. Don't get me wrong. It was very clean. The staff was extremely courteous. But it is the bare necessities! A clean bed (no bed bugs, I checked!). A clean bathroom with clean towels. The rooms DO have a mini fridge, but DO NOT have a microwave, mini coffee pot or iron and ironing board. They also DO NOT have an elevator! It is a motel with outdoor room entry. So don't pack big heavy suitcases that you have to carry up a flight of stairs! Their Pook was very clean, and they have pool toys floating around for anyone to use. One of the lounge chairs were torn, so I just chose another. I had some trouble with noisy neighbors two nights in a row, but I called the front desk and the issue was resolved. I smelled a lot of SKUNKS during my stay! 🦨🦨🦨 Is marijuana legal in the state if Florida?

Horrible hotel would. Not ever stay again if I come Back 2 south beach do your self a favor and Don’t come here other then the pool there is nothing 2 Do also they have spider and Bed bugs and roaches

when you walk into the hotel it has a moldy smell which makes you a bit shaken about your choice of hotel. The room me and my friends was given the bath room smelled of sewage, I mentioned this to the front desk guy he told me that I could switch in the morning. I was like cool, however I wake up with a swollen face eye almost closed from being bitten by mosquitoes along with bites all up my arm and back ( no they weren't bed bugs). We checked out early and was given a refund for the night we weren't going to stay. However I feel that I should have been offered a full refund seeing that I dang near got eaten alive. I asked for a corporate number I was told there isn't one so then I asked for the general manager information and I was told she doesn't have a contact number and I was given an email. Oh not to mention our toilet over flooded and no one came to fix it. Let's just say I'm calling the BBB
