New Land Hostel

BED BUGS!!! The hostel is alright in itself for the price but we found bed bugs our first night there! We told the manager and he did not surprised or apologetic about it, but at least we got our money back.

Unfortunately we discovered bed bugs in one of the beds in Dorm A shortly after checking in. We informed the staff, but they did not handle the situation well. They told us they could spray something (like pesticides) on the bed while we were out and simply wash the bed linens. We were eventually able to change rooms, but just a few minutes later, the staff checked new guests into the same room. We told them about the bed bugs and they ended up finding them in another bed as well. However, the hostel’s location is great and the bathrooms were clean.
