La ubicación, a escasos metros de la catedral Que me desperté con chinches en la cama

Desafortunadamente en el cuarto había chinches 😵‍💫

Estaba en un sitio estupendo, al lado de la catedral Completamente lleno de chinches!!!!! Cuando llegue a mi cama estaban las sábanas sin cambiar, el chico se limitó a darme otras sin desinfectar ni nada…

The location, the staffad the possibility to take a shower early in the morning, even before checking time I got 4 bedbugs bites in my arm (29.05.26,room.4, first floor bed B). It seems it doesn't matter how clean the albergue looks or how much you pay for a bed in a dorm of four people. Bed bugs seem to be a thing in Albergues in Santiago, does not matter how much you pay. I know it's difficult, but after so many days walking, staying in public and private albergues I've never got bitten. How is that that you get to Santiago and all gets the other way around? You all need to get better with the cleaning ! Also, the ventilation of the hotel in1 front keeps the door of the garage open full night. It is really noisy, that means you cannot open the windows to get fresh air

localização maravilhosa. conheci varias pessoas de toda parte do mundo, pessoal na pegada do caminho... fiquei no primeiro andar perto da escada e foi um pouco barulhento, pois estava perto da escada,,, um pouco de barulho por estar no primeiro andar perto da escada... teve um rapaz que roncava MUITO ALTO, mas consegui mudar de quarto no segundo dia! mas o quarto que fui o pessoal avistou bed bug, mas dormi sem nada!

Close to the church I was bitten by a bed bug and moved rooms, but it got worse, so I moved to another room with two more nights left and got better.

Location Cleanliness lacking: -I’m pretty sure I was attacked by bed bugs. -The bathroom facilities are small, not enough space to put stuff and unclean (hair everywhere)(floors wet)(bad water pressure)

I got bitten on the first day. It was bed bug. I asked to move my bed, which was accepted the next day.

Location. This was the worst place I have stayed during Camino. 1. I was informed my bed does not have ar curtain. 2. The bathrooms were very warned down, one toilet door did not work, so every time someone went in - it was a huge noice. The bathrooms were dirty, stinky and gross. 3. I was not able to sleep due to the noise all night. Other people were loud, partying and making a huge noise. My room had only 4 people, we all tried to sleep. 4. THE MOST IMPORTANT. BED BUGS. I could not sleep, took my phone and with the light of ot saw a bug. When I realised that, I got up and looked at the beds. I was sleeping in the top bed, other lady from the bottom bes was already gone. I saw about 5 bugs, felt very scared, because I was not sure what to do. I went downstairs, talked with a woman guest who could speak english and spanish, she told the situation to the man that was working there and he said - I sleep here all the time, You must have seen one bug, no big deal. NO BIG DEAL? I slept un much less expensive and more simple places during Camino, it was always very clean and nice. This is just outrages. I packed up my stuff, went to pharmacie and spend 20€ to buy spray for my body and clothes. I will be spraying myself down and washing everything in Porto, instead of having a nice evening in the town. DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

I did not go because of history of bed bugs. Unfortunately my request for a regund was not accepted so I paid the first night. Just a good reminder to read reviews regularly

L'emplacement Les punaises de lit dans le lit et faire changer le matelas. Un casier impossible.à atteindre.. trop haut. Pas de rideau à mon lit.

Location is super good but it’s really expensive. The staff is very friendly! I got bed bugs bite after that(but I am not pretty sure where did I bites)but I guessed it’s here! And the bathroom is super wet and dirty if you come late!

El albergue tiene muy buena ubicación En las habitaciones hacia muchisima calor, las taquillas no cerraban y las llaves abren todas las taquillas. Además, a una compañera le picaron chinches y tuvo que ir a los días al hospital

Die Lage war super und das Personal sehr freundlich. Es gab nur ein WC für Frauen auf der Etage. Das war deutlich zu wenig. Außerdem hatten die Matratzen Bettwanzen UND Flöhe. Für den Preis auf jeden Fall... abenteuerlich.

Fantastic location between the pilgrim office and the cathedral square. The staff on arrival were very helpful and welcoming after torrential rain I wasn't going to write this review. I arrived October 6th and found the place clean and comfortable, if a little spartan. I couldn't sleep due to a cpap breakdown and at 4:30 a guest from my room came down with all his gear. He had been watching a video and a bedbug crawled across his bed. I immediately retrieved my gear from the locker next to my bed. I went back at 6 am to grab one thing and found a bedbug crossing the floor. We decided to tell the manager when he arrived but meantime spread out all our kit and packs on a big table and thoroughly searched them will bright lights. Luckily no bedbugs in our clothes or packs. Three other guests from our room left before the manager arrived. We told the manager about the problem so staff could inspect the room and disinfect it. Later I spoke with him. He informed me he had inspected the packs of all the other guests and found no bedbugs so my friend and I must have brought them in with ours. I said we had done a thorough inspection of our kit and he was wrong. He insisted he was right. I answered how could you inspect the packs of other guests as I witnessed them leave hours before he arrived. That is why I write this review. I never asked for any refund or special cleaning of my kit. all I wanted was to inform them of the problem, but not to then be blamed and lied to. In all.my travels on the Camino I saw not one bedbug until finishing and staying in this hotel. It is easy for traveller's to bring them in in their packs and clothing and this albergue was otherwise clean. Just don't tell a barefaced lie to guests trying to be helpful Postscript: The manager claimed he processed a refund with Booking.com as a result of the bedbug problem. that too was a lie as my booking.com bill arrived and....no refund.

The girl who checked me in was absolutely amazing. The location is excellent! And it is a really nice place, if my experience hadn’t have been the way it was, I would have loved this place. Unfortunately, I found a dead bedbug around the mattress (and it was very dirty all around the edges of the mattress), I asked to switch beds, which couldn’t be accommodated. I obviously felt really uncomfortable and probably this would have helped, but the woman at reception did clean around the mattress…I considered switching hostels, but on my last day on the Camino and leaving the next day, and limited options due to the last day of the music festival - this felt like a big feat. I stayed and woke up with only one bite. The thing that was the most upsetting, is that due to the festival (that I was not there to see), I paid 75€ for a dirty bedbug bunk bed to have a really uncomfortable sleep on my last day after a hard journey. Overall it was an unfortunate experience due to a few issues encountered.

Bedbugs infestation it was so bad, found one on the bed and then woke up 2 days later covered in bites. The bathrooms are small and unclean. Shouldn’t have stayed in a peregrino albergue but thought this would be a nice treat at the end of the pilgrimage. Worst place stayed the entire trek.

La posizione ottima Quando abbiamo informato che ci fossero dei bed bugs (e ne abbiamo portato uno a prova), ci è stato detto "Ah ok" e non è stato fatto nulla per disinfestare la stanza o avvisare i prossimi viaggiatori. Le stanze sono soffocanti per quanta gente ci sta dentro.
