3City Hostel

1. There were bedbugs in my first room. The girls in my room told me when I first got to the hostel and we had to quickly change rooms and they moved us to a mixed gender dorm. 2. I came back from exploring the city and I found all of my stuff in the room gone (my towel and clothes that I hung on the bed). I went down to the reception to complain and found all my things at the back of the reception (including my suitcase, which i did not even notice was gone in the first place). I was so shocked because I was only gonna check out 3 days later and it was a scare to find my things gone. The receptionist said that maybe the cleaners brought my stuff down. All the things I left on the bed like my towel and clothes were stuffed into a trash bag, and when i took it out, everything smelled like cigarettes. It was horrible because my clothes weren’t even dirty and I had to wash them. 3. On the 4th night while I was sleeping, I heard someone yelling outside in the corridor at 4am. He was running around and screaming, slamming doors. He sounded like he was gonna kill someone. It was so scary especially because there was only me and one other man in my room. That was terrifying to hear especially when trying to sleep. 4. The next day I got back from the city and all my stuff that I put under the bed was taken out and moved to another bed. It was so annoying because I had already arranged my things nicely, and the cleaners kept moving my things. Thank God I kept all my things locked. 5. One of the toilets did not have a light, so there was only one girls toilet available on that floor. 6. The showers did not have any hooks inside the cubicle to hang your stuff and put your soap. There was only two outside the cubicle door and it was kind of small and inconvenient to stretch out your hand and grab your stuff mid-shower. The other cubicle shower was with a curtain and my roommate said it felt mid-shower, which was inconvenient.

Absolutely terrible! Bedbugs in the women's dorm on the first floor! Me and others in the room got bitten. The receptionist said there was nothing she could do and offered only to give us fresh bedding on the same beds—in the room that was infested with bedbugs! The cleaner simply put fresh sheets on the infested beds!! We were only offered a new room after complaining a second time. It’s unacceptable for any guest, yet the hostel does nothing about it! On top of that, everything is dirty! The bathroom couldn't be locked and everything was broken. During the day, cleaning staff touched our personal belongings and moved them around. Plus some of the staff were very unfriendly. The worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in!!!!

Esse lugar é período para sua saúde e segurança. As camas estão se desmanchando, o colchão tem percevejos, o travesseiro tem percevejo, as beliches estão quase se desmontando, as trancas das portas não funcionam. Algumas trancas estão quebradas.

房間有嚴重的臭蟲（Bedbugs）問題！我入住 106 號房，結果腿部、手部和脖子遭到大量蟲咬，大面積嚴重紅腫、劇癢且發炎。雖然櫃檯隨後幫我換到了 214 房，但原房間的衛生狀況令人震驚。

BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS. Didn’t stay the night as I didn’t want to bring the bugs home. The motion sensor light in the showers is inconvenient as it goes out pretty quickly and then doesn’t turn on again. Very dirty and bad smelling toilets.

The were bed bugs which bite me all over the body.There were drunk and very smelly people in the room.The bed was squishy.I didn’t sleep at all.The worst night in my life.

Bettwanzen!!!

The staff at 3 City Hostel are worse than unhelpful, they straight up sabotage guests who seek support. I encourage you to read other reviews (and the responses) where the manager attempts to justify terrible service, lack of amenities, and frequent thefts by bringing up the excellent location. After the second night of my 7-night stay the receptionist, who looks like discount David Harbour, informed me I would need to move to a smaller room due to a drunk guest throwing up, so the larger dorm would need cleaning. It took some time to shift all my things from the locker into the smaller room's locker, but it was technically an upgrade so I accepted. Also the floor was clean in this new room, which was a plus. The next day I met the manager who explained the cleaning was due to bed-bugs! Furthermore he said I would be moving back into the original room that day as they had reservations for the smaller room. Note that I was not the only one upgraded, there was also a perpetually drunk old man and a 17-yo minor being pushed around. I'd have thought when a guest is upgraded that room is theirs for the remainder of the stay. Why would you double-book the room? Why would you send guests back into a room after mentioning bed-bugs in there? There are no power sockets close to beds, just one or two in each room. No privacy curtains despite appearing in photos. TVs in lounge have no remotes. Kitchen has a kettle and NOTHING else. Wifi is unreliable at best. Shower room has a motion sensor light which doesn't detect movement inside the shower. Manager is a compulsive liar and accepts no accountability for any complaints. An excellent location is subjective. If you want to stay in the costly tourist area there are plenty of other far better options available to you, or better yet go for something slightly further out. You might need to take a tram 5 mins into town but it will be cheaper, more peaceful and comfortable.
