Play Hostel Arcos works best as a Palermo location hack: close to Subte access, restaurants, nightlife, Distrito Arcos, and Avenida Santa Fe. The useful pieces are practical more than glamorous: 24-hour reception, a rooftop/terrace, patio and lounge spaces, a small work/coworking area, and staff who often come off kind and helpful. Some beds have plugs and lights, and the price can be low for the area. The social signal is mixed.
