Essaouira Youth Hostel and Social Travel

Wir waren im „Rolling Stones“-Zimmer. Leider erfuhren wir erst nach der Ankunft von früheren Bettwanzenmeldungen. Bei uns konnten wir zwar keine finden ( was nichts bedeutet), aber die Kissen waren schimmelig. Im Bad gab es keine Seife, und das ganze Haus ist sehr hellhörig. Für den Zustand ist der Preis (zumindest für ein Privatzimmer) in Essaouira deutlich zu hoch. Zu den Schlafsälen kann ich nichts sagen.

It is impossible to give even 1 star to this place. Starting with lack cleanliness, ripped electric sockets, and many other dangerous sharp items sticking out here and there, there were rats running across lobby, and abundance of bed bugs affecting everybody in our party, making us refusing to stay after only 1 night, having paid for 5. Staff warned us that the manager/ owner often threat guests with violence and advise us against of confronting him, so we decided to flee regardless monies paid.

Bed bugs in my room (booked a private double room) + bed sheets were dirty and smelled very bad + no social atmosphere + 3/4 people tried to enter my room at night past midnight? Luckily I’ve locked it before Not worth the price at all - to avoid

The toilets are dirty in all floors. There is NO SOAP in any toilet at all (i have been to 4 different toilets in the hostel). The shower is clocked and doesn’t run properly. My bed definitely had BED BUGS or something because it itched everytime I went to bed and I had red spots on my skin all day. We slept at 5 people in a bedroom of 4. There are no plugs on the top beds. The floor towels in the rooms/ bathrooms are extremely dirty and barely get changed. The common area is messy.
