Tam Coc Mountain Bungalow

This stay was a 10/10, one of the best in Asia! The only downfall is that one of us got bitten by bedbugs in the 3 person room. The staff was lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Regarding the dorms. NOT RECOMMENDED! Bed bugs, dirty sheets, the door unlocked at all times - we weren’t provided with a key. The bathroom was not en-suite as stated. Very bad conditions.

really lovely place but we had a bed bug infestation that we discovered at 2am in all 3 beds. We tried to find someone to help us but everyone was gone so we left at 3am to go to another hotel which was rather difficult. Still finding bugs in our clothes so because of this, cannot recommend staying here until problem is addressed.

I was really excited to stay here as it is in a beautiful location and run by a sweet family. However in the middle of the night we realized we had bed bugs in every bed and there was no staff to be found to help us move rooms or figure it out. We ended up having to leave in the middle of the night. I was disappointed as I was so excited to stay at this location. They said they would spray the beds so if you are staying here soon I would recommend checking the beds.

Lovely lady who runs this hostel. Set in the beautiful scenery of Tam Coc. 10 mins cycle to town they charge for bike hire. Very chilled atmosphere. Unfortunately there are bed bugs in the dorm room. Evidence underneath covers found a few alive and also got bitten. The mattress have plastic covers which is a little alarming as to why? The lady very kindly cleaned all my clothes but the beds were just stripped and relayed. Really unfortunate this has happened as it's a beautiful place.
