Stayed 6 nights over F1 weekend. The facilities are modern and have a nice aesthetic. However, service could be much better. Upon entering the first time, there was a guy complaining about his stay for 15+ min. Reception did not seem to acknowledge me when I arrived and allowed two others to jump ahead. The female daytime receptionist and male night receptionist were not friendly and barely acknowledge you. The male also gave me a hard time for replacing my towel on night 3 of 6. He does not even say anything when I thank him. The best receptionist was the girl at night. She was always smiling and kind. The capsules are spacious and relatively clean. I did get some bites on my ankles, saw one bug, but it did not look like a bed bug thankfully. The capsule rooms are very quiet, not conducive to socializing at all. I felt afraid to speak in there. The walls are very thin, can hear the chimes of the elevator and the bathroom doors slamming (those really need some soft close function). I am a heavier sleeper so these did not bother me, but if you are a light sleeper, be prepared. Though it was loud during the F1 weekend, I did not hear much music or partying in the capsule. They provide two hangers in the capsule, but drying items would take days (just an FYI for those washing items). The bathrooms have 2 shower and 2 toilet stalls. It was ample for my stay, only waited for the shower once. It was generally clean, but upon arrival, it appeared some other guest bled on the toilet and down the outer bowl... It was not cleaned for days. That was gross, but I avoided that stall. The common area on Floor 5 had many tables, big communal ones to small private desks for working. The area could be messy at times, garbage bins overflowing. The drink machine was very nice to have, my fav was the Tarik. The early morning breakfast was also appreciated. I enjoyed the savoury middle option (chicken pie puffs were the best, also had tuna or curry puffs). The sweet options were a bit dry and I did not like much. Overall a decent capsule hotel. I don't think I could have found better for F1 weekend at the price I paid. But I also don't think I would return due to the service and cleanliness (many reviews with bugs). I would consider the other Kinn property instead.

A few suggestions 1. The washing machine pipe is very loud when there's water flowing. It can be bothering but I have my earbuds ready. 2. The showering gel and shampoo seems to be expired, smelled like fermented yogurt or overnight soy milk. I didn't use any of them after the first night 3. A few dead bed bugs but they didn't bite me. Not sure where they came from. 4. Coffee is too bland. Need to check the amount of powder in the machine more frequently. 5. Just a note if you wanna reserve here. It's not a very social hostel here so if u are expecting parties or movie nights, it might not be a place for you. But the 1st and 5th floors are very cozy and you can find some friends here if u are willing to initiate some conversations

Vibe Analysis
KINN Habitat is a polished, modern capsule hostel in a central Singapore spot, with Clarke Quay, the riverside, bus stops, MRT links, Chinatown, Fort Canning, Marina Bay and Merlion Park within easy reach. The building feels new and design-led, with strong air conditioning, clean lines, and a quieter, more work-friendly mood than a party hostel. The capsules are the main trick: privacy shutters, comfortable beds, mirrors, sockets, hooks, and sometimes a foldable table make the bunk feel more usable than a plain dorm bed. Lockers sit near the beds, and the bathrooms can feel unusually upscale when cleaning is on point. The 5th-floor lounge and terrace add real utility: light breakfast snacks, hot drinks, water access, and space for laptop time. The lobby coffee can also be a good start to the day. Staff support is often warm and practical, though the tech-heavy self check-in and keypad systems can slow things down.
Signals to check
- Rooms and pods can be very small, with limited floor space for luggage.
- Ventilation is a real risk: dorms may feel stuffy, too cold, too hot, humid, or affected by strong chemical, mold, ammonia, or urine smells.
- This is not a strong social hostel; the mood is more clean, central, and functional than activity-heavy.
- Doors, lockers, keypads, elevators, thin walls, and late-night movement can make sleep difficult in some rooms.
- Bathrooms may be hot, cramped, wet, short on shelf space, or inconsistently clean.
- Upper bunks and some low floor-bed layouts can be awkward or unsafe to climb in and out of.
- Breakfast is simple, usually pastries or small snacks and basic drinks, so do not expect a full meal.
- There are serious past complaints about bugs and bed cleanliness, so check the bed area carefully on arrival.
