Hotel Letizia

Hotel Letizia is mainly a practical Orte Scalo stopover, especially if the train is the plan: the station is about one or two minutes away on foot, with bus access nearby for reaching Orte's historic centre. It works best for a simple night close to transport rather than a social hostel scene. The strongest part is the human side. Staff are often warm and helpful, with Letizia herself appearing as a kind, hands-on presence: arranging dinner for late arrivals, serving an in-room New Year's Eve meal, giving local tips, and helping with awkward arrivals or bike storage. Rooms can be simple, clean, comfortable, and sometimes spacious, and breakfast can be generous. The building, though, is clearly dated, and the condition is uneven: there are serious complaints about stained bedding and furniture, dirty floors, stuffy rooms, moldy-looking walls, old bathrooms, weak airflow and light, and a price that can feel high for the standard. There is no shared kitchen, and the restaurant may not be operating. Reception coverage can be limited, so late or last-minute arrivals may need extra coordination.
