Sacred Lotus - Vegan - Café x Hostel

Photos don’t reflect the dorms. The place was nice to stay at (no bed bugs when we were there) however some rooms are a little run down looking. For the price of the hostel this can be overlooked as you get what you pay for. The cafe is great, delicious food, lovely staff and rooftop so chill.

It's a fine place. The lockers are better suited for a gym. They are barely big enough to fit a purse, much less a backpack or suitcase. They had bed bugs the one night I stayed there. The staff was kind. The location is not on google or grabmaps, so if you arrive late, you have to look for the logo on the gate. It's a fine spot, but between the lack of security and the bed bugs, I chose not to stay for the duration of my booking.

Chinches en las camas. Al siguiente día estaba con el pecho rojo con picaduras, después de las 10 pm no puedes estar en la parte de abajo. Tienes que ir arriba a la terraza o a tu habitación. Lejos de todo.

It was really not well cleaned and I had to leave earlier because every morning (I stayed there for 2 nights) I wake up totally full of insect bites, I'm quite sure it's bedbugs.

Malheureusement nous avons découvert des punaises de lit , nous avons donc avertit le personnel qui nous as informé qu’ils allaient nettoyer la chambre et que nous pourrions ensuite la récupérer. J’ai demandé gentiment un remboursement de la chambre et nous sommes partis. Ce n’est pas de leur faute mais un simple nettoyage ne suffira pas à éradiquer les punaises de lit. Ils ont été compréhensif et ils nous on remboursé la chambre.

Leider hatten wir in unserem Privatzimmer Bettwanzen… Das Personal hat jedoch direkt darauf reagiert, uns für eine Nacht die Kosten erstattet und das Zimmer mit Spray behandelt, geputzt und Bettwäsche gewechselt. An sich keine schöne Erfahrung, aber guter Umgang des Personals damit. Passiert halt mal..

BED BUGS!! Staff is friendly and the hostel looks nice but I left as soon as I saw the bugs. Since the hostel has several reviews about bedbugs they don’t seem to do anything about it.

Bed bugs and staff seemed unfazed

There were bedbugs everything was dirty and the hostel was empty not nice. The staff was kind tho

Everything was great but when i went to sleep i felt bites and when i turned on my flashlight i saw bedbugs everywhere on the bed. I moved to another bed on the other side of the dorm and only saw one. I saw a few crawling on my belongings the next day, in another location. I had to remove everything from my bag and wash it to kill the bugs/eggs. I wish i could give a good rating but if the dorm has an infestation of parasites i rightfully cannot.

There were bedbugs in the dorms on the 16/12/24... A part from that the staff was really nice and the terrace beautiful and nice to chill in. Calme place.

Wir hatten Bettwanzen im Privatzimmer,eine andere Backpackerin im Schlafsaal. Ich habe das Team versucht zu informieren, die allerdings immer noch meine Mail ignorieren.

bad bed bugs in the beds and the bathrooms wernt very clean, there was also creepy men harrassing me in the dorm and they were allowed to carry on drinking and causing stress to the women in the dorm, luckily fellow travellers intervened!

NOT RECOMMENDED!When we first saw the private room we thought they gave us a different one then we reserved. It was the same room but we did not reconise it because of the conditions. All pictures are from when it was brand new but it has not been maintained since. They also PHOTOSHOP plants on the pictures (zoom in and look closely, no shade ,etc.) They also make it seem like a well lit room wich it absolutely isn't (felt like a bunker).
