The Hive Party Hostel Budapest

BED BUGS. Terrible bed bug infestation and when told about it at the desk all they did was change the sheets on the soft uncovered mattresses. I asked if it could be cleaned better or I could pay to wash my clothes as to not cary them with me to the next place and they simple told me to go to a laundry mat. I washed everything on hot and bagged it and paid to keep in a locker overnight so I wouldn’t bring it back into the building.

we didn’t like that we ended up with bedbugs

No volvería nunca en la vida, de hecho me quise ir antes. Súper sucio, la colcha que me dejaron estaba manchada con menstruación, muy oloroso, todo lleno de cositas negras. Me picaba todo el cuerpo, creo que había bedbugs pero no puedo confirmarlo eso. Me alojé en una habitación de 10, había UN SOLO inodoro y UNA SOLA ducha, imposible. Horrible, sucio, oloroso, inseguro, híper mega ruidoso, imposible dormir ahí.

The sheets made us all itch so they should check for bedbugs and our bathroom which was private smelled absolutely terrible. Be aware that it is a party hostel so there was VERY loud music until about 3/4 a.m.

Not a bad vibe but pretty noisy at night of course having a club downstairs, the facilities were pretty good but unfortunately I did get a couple bed bug bites and having to pay for a towel seemed like something they could have supplied for free

The hostal is good for very young people but it is not cozy, it was clean but I found traits of bed bugs, I was not sure if there were but I was not comfortable. Also the bar was super loud, I checked out

Do not stay here , really dirty. Got bed bugs and bites all over our legs. Only way this was resolved was with a cash refund they refused to give us a new room. Had to waste a whole day of trip moving to a hotel . A girl moved into our room part way through the stay and her sheets hasn’t been changed since the previous guest- she would have been unaware of this and sleeping with dirty used sheets had we not told her
