Riverside Garden Hostel

J’ai réservé une chambre privée dans cet hostel mais j’ai finalement annulé mes nuits car la chambre était trop sale et que j’avais des doutes sur la présence de punaises de lit. Je n’en ai pas vu mais les draps avaient des taches de sang, donnant clairement l’impression qu’ils n’avaient pas été lavés. En frottant avec une serviette, les taches sont parties immédiatement, ce qui confirme le manque total d’hygiène. J’ai demandé un changement de draps, mais les nouveaux étaient tout aussi sales. Il y avait également des taches, dont du sang, sur les murs et sur le sol. Bref, très mauvaise expérience. L’endroit ne semble pas très bien isolé non plus, on entendait la musique de l’extérieur

We stayed June 2025, in one of the dorm room and found it to be infested with bed bugs mainly on the purple blankets that I don’t think they wash. The staff were good and refunded us and went elsewhere.

Overall, the hostel was in a great location and the staff on the front desk was really lovely and helpful. Only thing is we met a few girls who had stayed in the hostel originally and said they had to leave due to bedbugs, obviously not the fault of the hostel but something to be aware of as it didn’t feel very clean

an alright stay, the puppies are cute and the location/pool area is nice. i didn’t have this issue but other rooms had bed bug infestations… probably nicer spots to stay in vang vieng

Does not look like pics on Hostelworld. Really strange interaction though little communication with guy at check-in, told us we had to wait till 1 to checkin.. it was 12:55. No common area. Under construction. Big pool area with pretty view with a lot of potential. Not social. Feels abandoned. Rooms are old. Water turned off mid shower. Bottom bunk bed on the floor. Bed bugs looking bugs on beds.
