La habitación era muy pequeña , pero no le di importancia , estuve 6 días , 5 noches , ningún día limpiaron , ni la basura la retiran . Encontré una cucaracha y me dió mucho asco , después me empezó a picar las piernas , pensé que eran mosquitos , pero no , mis piernas cada vez tenían más puntos rojos y me picaba mucho , resulta que eran chinches de cama , lo pasé fatal , porque tenía que seguir mi viaje y solo pensaba en los chinches , que me llevaba los chinches para casa , estuve muy inquieta y solo rezaba para que mi ropa no estuviese infestada de chinches . Todo puede ser pero ese hotel no tiene ningún tipo de limpieza y creo haber leído x allí otro comentario de las cucarachas , ese edificio es caótico y me parece que es poco higiénico .

Room is small, didn't expect otherwise for the price and location but there were a lot of small insects walking around, the staff said they were going to clean and spray my room, but the insects were still there. Were not bed bugs and didn't do any harm so it was fine in the end. Can't control the temperature or fan speed of the AC, it's either on or off.

Despite being asked to confirm card they wanted 3% extra for card.They did not keep my rservation for first booking despite confirmation and made me go down to a bed bug infested dirty room in A block with no TV.I asked for reduction but they only rounded th fig and then forcedme to cancel booking to save them cimmisikn. The next day room was better but again credit card validatikn msg was sent by them despite them having already taken cash . 3 days after stay I note they cancelled my booking again to save commission despite rhe fact they took caah and stayed. Unethical

Rhine Guest House is a bare-bones budget base in Chungking Mansions, with a very central Tsim Sha Tsui location near the MTR, Victoria Harbour, shops, restaurants, and airport transport. The strongest reason to book is the location and price, plus practical basics like hot water, Wi-Fi, towels, and sometimes a water dispenser or luggage storage. The tradeoff is serious. Access runs through a crowded market-style ground floor, then up busy lifts that can mean long waits. Rooms are very small, often windowless, and built for sleeping rather than hanging out. Cleanliness is mixed: rooms can be clean enough, but pests, stained bedding, food smells, smoke smells, damp smells, and dirty common building areas are recurring problems. This is not a social hostel and not a comfort pick. It fits a short, low-budget stopover for someone who knows Chungking Mansions and can handle noise, tight space, awkward bathrooms, and a chaotic entrance. For solo women, claustrophobic sleepers, taller people, or anyone wanting calm and polish, it may be a rough call.
