I hate having to write this review as this hostel was so lovely. Igor is the best, most invovled hostel operator in the biz. The vibes were very social and the toliets/showers kept clean. The location was perfect as well. The biggest issue occurred days after my stay. This was the first hostel of my trip and I believe I MAY have been bitten by bed bugs whilst here. There's no way to gurantee, and it isn't a slight on the hostel or the owner (they can happen anywhere).

Igor was a lovely guest, however bathrooms were quite dirty and I believe I have gotten bed bugs from this location. It was the only night I spent independently from my friends, and I am the only one that seems to have bedbug bites.

Vibe Analysis
The Good Place Hostel is a small, apartment-style place right in the center of Sarajevo, close to the old town, main streets, cafes, and transport. The location is one of its clearest strengths. The hostel is clean and the beds are very comfortable. Several beds have privacy curtains, reading lights, outlets, and lockers, and the showers are hot. Coffee and tea are available, and there is a balcony for sitting and watching the street. Igor and Rene are friendly and helpful, with city history, food tips, and ideas for what to do. The atmosphere can feel social and relaxed, with conversation, music, and an easy shared-space feel.

- There is no kitchen, so cooking is not an option.
- The common area is small, so the space can feel tight when it is full.
- There are only two toilets and two showers, so peak times may feel cramped.
- The shower area can be awkward for changing.
- Cash may be needed at check-in.
- Some upper bunks may not have side rails.
