Stay 424 is a small, self-check-in hostel in Wicker Park with quick access to the Blue Line, buses, restaurants, bars, shops, and a Mexican market nearby. It fits best as a budget crash pad for travelers who value location, transit, and a simple bed over a staffed hostel scene. The downstairs co-working space is the standout practical feature: when open, it gives the hostel a proper place to work outside the rooms. A kitchen is available with a stove, fridge, dishes, cups, spices, and other shared basics; laundry may be available too. Rooms range from comfortable and clean to very rough around the edges.
