Alles in allem war das ganze einfach nur alt und verlebt und schmuddelig. Die Möbel zusammengewürfelt und ohne Stil. Das Mobiliar außen war oft dreckig, sodass ich es teilweise selbst geputzt habe. Auch für wenig Geld noch viel zu viel und nicht empfehlenswert. Ich würde sagen, das ganze "Ding" müsste abgerissen werden und neu aufgebaut. Eine Dusche für 3 Zimmer; in der 2. war das Waschbecken kaputt und wurde auch auf meinen Hinweis nicht repariert. Lediglich ein Zettel fand sich wieder. Die Toilette für 3 Zimmer war so klein, dass man eigentlich immer durch die Dushce gehen musste, um aus der Türe zu kommen. Alles extrem alt und schmuddelig.

There is too much staff there than is needed for this place. The staff is constantly there taking care of the guests. They spend all day dealing with the guests and what everyone is doing. The reception manager is named Miriam. (A simple worker who was promoted to forget where she came from!). She is constantly busy reporting what everyone is doing in their lives. In addition to all the inhumane problems there are in the place. All the rooms and beds there have bed bugs.

I had a terrible experience at Natwange Backpackers. The owner, Anita, treated guests with zero respect. She kicked my friend out in the middle of the night just because he wanted to bring his girlfriend. When I stood up for him, she kicked me out too. The behavior was rude and aggressive. This isn’t a one-time issue. Many other reviews mention the same pattern. Staff constantly gossip about guests. It creates an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere. One of my friends even got bed bugs during the stay. Avoid this place if you care about basic respect and cleanliness.

After I left the hostel and dorm I had bed bug bites all over my both legs, my right arm, on my head, on my face, on my neck and back. Never had these many bites anywhere before and I’ve traveled a lot in Africa before. We’re talking hundreds of bites on only of of the legs alone. This was also my first nights in Africa after flying in so it didn’t happen anywhere else.
