DREAM Hostel Kyiv

Great location just at the edge of podil, near a major street with many restaurants and bars and a 24h supermarket, and a beautiful 25 min walk up past St Andrews and St Michael's. Great sized rooms and bathrooms and really affordable rates. Even has its own cafe/restaurant with okay prices. On top of all that, the staff were lovely and very helpful. So why only 3 stars? Bedbugs. I felt like if just rolled around in a psych of piston Ivy the night before when I woke up every morning and saw them crawling around and promptly squished them twice. By the looks of it, they seemed young, so were potentially brought by the traveler who occupied that bed before me, but overall made for a really unpleasant sleep experience during my stay. (Stayed in 8-person girls dorm for 5 nights)
