This was by far the worst accommodation experience I’ve had. When I arrived at my pod, it was clearly not cleaned—there were body hairs, stains, and even bed bugs in the bedding. It was extremely unhygienic and made it impossible to feel comfortable or safe sleeping there. I reported the issue immediately to a staff member (Orlando), who acknowledged the situation but said he wasn’t in charge and couldn’t do anything about it. I followed up as instructed and contacted the hotel via email—but my messages were ignored, and no refund or compensation was provided. I was left without accommodation late at night in Amsterdam, and had to urgently find another place to stay, which was significantly more expensive at the last minute. This is completely unacceptable. The lack of cleanliness and the poor customer service make me strongly advise against booking this property. Booking.com should reconsider listing accommodations that don’t meet basic hygiene and support standards.

Bed bugs. Not enough fresh air. Toilet on the diff floor.

Bedbugs!!!! My friends stayed here for ONE night and woke up the next morning with bedbug bites and bugs on their clothes. Was very inconvenient as we were interrailing and so travelling a lot and had to do a deep clean of clothes and buy new luggage.

BED BUGS!! Only stayed one night, thank goodness, and had my luggage in a locker, but a real nightmare!! NO COMPENSATION OR REFUND EITHER!!

Stayed here in August of 2018. I paid 67$ for my tiny room and woke up at 6am to bed bugs crawling on the wall. It was disgusting and I wasn’t given any form of refund.

Durty is right lol. The showers were nasty. Bedding yellowed. Sheets weren’t even the right size so they didn’t cover the mattress completely. My partner had many bug bites (bed bugs??). Breakfast was average and priced at 4€. Bar had no atmosphere. Staff weren’t exactly pleasant. Location is by far the best part about this hostel.

The pub was good however the room that I stayed in had bed bugs so as a hostel I would rate it a 1. They did re inberse me and they did pay for me to stay somewhere else so they have good customer service
