OK, you asked me for a review. Itchiness on my arm alarmed me of existence of bed bugs. I found one and killed it. Blood stain was left on the comforter. I reported it to the front desk. They weren't enthusiastic about going extra length to help me. I changed bed, and luckily the second bed did not give me problems, but I was nervous all night.

  2. Confirmed Hostelworld

Could be cleaner. Shower was decent. Bed was ok. Room was hot. Hot tub would not get hot. House keeping was rude. Someone was complaining about bed bugs in a different room. Not the worst hostel I’ve stayed in but definitely wasn’t that great.

Vibe Analysis

Bposhtels Anaheim is more motel-with-bunks than classic hostel: shared rooms sit inside the Signature Anaheim property, usually with six beds and an in-room bathroom setup. The practical draw is location. Disney, the Convention Center, transport, fast food, shops, and restaurants are close enough to make it useful for a cheap Anaheim crash pad. There may be access to a pool and hot tub, easy parking, free toiletries, coffee, and a basic grab-and-go breakfast with items like muffins, yogurt, fruit, cereal, or bagels. Some rooms have a mini fridge and microwave. Front desk and housekeeping can be friendly at times, but support is inconsistent when something needs fixing. Rooms can be dark, cramped, noisy, and short on storage. Bunks are often squeaky or uncomfortable, outlets and bed lights may be unreliable, and one bathroom for six beds can create traffic. This is not the place for easy social energy; the setup can feel quiet, awkward, or tense rather than traveler-hangout fun. The biggest caveat is atmosphere and security. Lockers or drawers may not feel secure, room assignments and support can be messy, and there are repeated problems with cleanliness, smells, long-term occupants, late-night disruption, smoking near rooms, weak hot water, and refund or communication problems. Solo travelers, especially anyone who needs a calm women-only dorm, should be picky here.
