Full reviewI booked a one-night stay at Hotel Hub Venice Mestre but was extremely disappointed. Upon arrival after a long travel day, the front office was unattended with the main door unlocked and no staff present or note left. This raised serious security concerns — anyone could have walked in, accessed the elevator, or gone behind the desk. When the staff member finally returned, he was short, rude, and offered no assistance with my luggage. I had to carry everything myself through a back alley and up stairs. The r

Full reviewTerrible, huge mistake to book here. More seedy motel than hotel or hostel, and there are FAR better options just a few blocks away at comparable $. No security at all— physical keys (not key cards as advertised) to a rickety lock on bedroom door, outside doors do not lock and are left wide open. The room smelled strongly of cleaning fumes, yet floor & walls were dirty and gross. Did not trust that the bed or any surface were actually clean. Left immediately to find safer place to stay.

Full reviewStay away from them like fire!!!!! A group of thieves!!!! Crooks!!!! Those who want to lose their money should book a room there! I booked 4 rooms with them. at a price of 450 euros. We were scattered in 3 buildings in 2 rooms, the air conditioners did not work while it was 38 degrees outside. One room had no air conditioning at all. The sheets were dirty. You can't close the blinds. There was no hot water in the showers. I asked them at the reception why there is no hot water, so they answered that the hot water boiler has been broken for several days and they have nothing to do. I had to go look for another hotel and they didn't want to refund the money in any way. My conclusion is that even if you book the most expensive hotel in Venice, it will be cheaper than booking a room here. Too bad for all the pain in your heart, the cheap price is not worth the anger you will have for this disgusting place. Horrible service

Its strongest practical trick is location: Venice Mestre station is a short walk away, with buses, shops, restaurants, and a grocery store nearby, so it works best for a quick Venice-on-a-budget stopover. A small kitchen on the third floor may be available, with basics like a microwave or kettle in parts of the property. Some rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned, and staff can be friendly and helpful. Parking may be possible, but it can require advance arrangement. The tradeoff is heavy. The surrounding area can feel unsafe, especially after dark, and security sounds inconsistent, with unlocked external doors and limited overnight reception. This is not the place for atmosphere, social energy, or a cozy hostel scene. Room quality seems uneven: bathrooms may have drainage or odor problems, towels and linens are not always fresh, cleaning can be limited on longer bookings, and strong chemical smells or tobacco smells may linger. Treat it as a cheap transit base with a good station location, not a place to hang out.
