There are bed bugs in room B!! It was so terrible!!

Hay chinches y bichos en las habitaciones. Deben fumigar, todo parece limpio superficialmente, pero al detalle ves estos animales que son un peligro para los usuarios, envíe evidencia y soporte de lo que aquí comento.

Cheguei em Barcelona por volta de 2hrs da manhã, vindo de Lisboa. Quando fui me arrumar para tomar banho, vi um bichinho pequeno na cama, matei e segui me organizando, quando eu levantei a coberta que estava dobrada em cima da cama havia vários bichos, pareciam baratinhas, pensei que fossem, entrei em pânico, sem saber o que fazer, enviei mensagem pro whats app do hostel, mas não obtive resposta. Minha amiga foi bater tudo e expulsar para que eu pudesse dormir, o que eu não sabia que eram percevejos de cama (nunca tinha visto) fui toda, meu corpo todo e agora estou vivendo um inferno com medo de ter trazido algo para casa. Não desejo o que passei pra ninguém.

In one word : shame. We booked 4 nights in this hostel, we were two. Soon enough, I realized there were bedbugs in my bed. I told it to the staff and they didn’t seem surprised, but they changed us of room. I have around 60 bites on all my body AND my face. It’s itching a lot and hi can see it easily on my whole body. I have a video of the bedbugs on the bed and the pharmacist confirmed it was that. I bought a treatment (30€) and the laundry for all our stuff (15€). I can’t work during some days because i need a clean body for my job. Time to check out : i ask for refund or just a commercial gesture. The answer is no. Why ? Because we have changed room during the stay… mhhh that’s just normal no ? After 1h of negotiations with the staff, they ended up giving me 35€, probably because they understood that I wouldn't leave without it. The manager "didn't answer", supposedly, easy to jump ship when there's a problem. Good manager !!! Anyway, trust me and choose an other hostel. Buba house, if you see that, shame on you, really. Scam students who worked hard for pay 4 days of holidays, good mentality. Not representative of your beautiful country/peoples.

BED BUGS: Stayed there three nights and I ended up covered in bed bug bites (about 80 of them). I’m on antihistamines, I cannot go in the sun and my stay in Europe is ruined. Plus, they didn’t want to reimburse me. Avoid it, not worth destroying your perfect holiday. Overpriced in old building, and noisy.

Buba House = ¡CUCARACHAS Y CHINCHES/PULGAS! No lo recomiendo ni a mi peor enemigo. (ENGLISH VERSION down after the Spanish text) El staff genial, la ubicación ideal. Pero las condiciones de la infraestructura son lamentables, siento que he tirado mi dinero. No soy una persona exigente, y mucho menos para una estancia corta de una noche, sin embargo lo que voy a redactar a continuación es inadmisible. En primer lugar, me encuentro con una habitación extremadamente pequeña, hasta el punto de no poder abrir ni mi maleta dentro. Segundo, el zulo es muy oscuro y es un horno, tiene una ventana que da a un patio interior diminuto, por la noche la iluminación de la habitación es prácticamente inexistente, la bombilla prácticamente no tiene potencia. Tercero, la habitación olía a perro y humedad, maté una CUCARACHA que corría alegremente por las paredes. Cuarto, LA CAMA tenía CHINCHES/PULGAS, tengo unas doscientas picaduras, que no son ninguna broma, por todo el cuerpo que me están provocando un gran trastorno durante el transcurso de mis actividades cotidianas (y ya casi ha pasado una semana). Quinto, el ascensor es muy antiguo y no es seguro utilizarlo, esto dificulta el acceso a personas que viajen con maletas. Conclusión, no tengo ningún problema con el staff, fueron muy agradables, pero hubiese sido ideal poder contactarles en recepción, al día siguiente tenía prisa por coger mi vuelo. Si no "se ponen las pilas" con el higiene y reformas no le doy larga esperanza de vida al hostal. Dudo que pase los controles de seguridad y sanitarios en las condiciones que he citado. Muy decepcionada y aún afectada por las picaduras de chinche. ----- Buba House = COCKROACHS and BEDBUGS! I don't even recommend it to my worst enemy. The staff and location are great. But the conditions in the infrastructure are terrible. I feel like I have through my money to the garbage bin. I am not an exigent person, and even less for a short one-night stay, however what I am going to tell in the next paragraphs is inadmissible. First of all, I found that the room was extremely small, I can not even open my suitcase inside. Second, it is really dark during the day and hot as an oven. It is an interior room with a little window, during the night the light is almost inexistent, the bulb doesn't have enough power. Third, the room was smelling like something between humidity and dog, I KILLED A COCKROACH that was running on the walls! (OMG) Forth, the bed had BEDBUGS, I have got there about 200 bites, and now the bites are becoming something serious. It is going to be almost one week since I left the room and it are being a big inconvenience during my daily routines. Fifth, the elevator is really old and is not safe to use it, this fact makes difficult the access to people that travel with luggage. Finally, I have to say that I don't have any problem with the staff, they were really kind, but would have been good to can contact them during that awful night, the next day I was in a rush for take my flight, so I had no time to speak about this. If they don't improve the infrastructure of the hostel and the hygiene I think it will be close soon, a place like this can't pass the health and safety controls. I am really disappointed and still affected by the bedbug's bites.
