Hostel Vagabond Sarajevo

My friend got bed bugs on this trip. The linens were oldddd. Mine were literally falling apart, and it was so cramped. Our dorm should have been a 4 bed not a 4 bed. The staff was nice. Not very social at all.

Fully operated by uneducated Russian folks. I would avoid at all cost. I repeat AVOID AT ALL COST. A staff Dennis has nasty attitude and don’t expect the host and other staffs to be any different. Filthy dirty, bed bugs, smell, and loud noise coming from the street. When I was asked for the room change, I was racially humiliated for staying in the hostel by a host who actually runs the hostel. Had the worst experience here out of 50 hostels I’ve stayed in. Sarajevo is a beautiful city look somewhere else if you don’t want to ruin your vacation and enjoy your time. Safe travels!

Woke up to bedbugs crawling all over the bed above me. I took a photo and calmly showed the front desk and was told they weren’t bed bugs, just another bug that looks exactly the same. I moved rooms and washed all my clothes which cost me money and was a pain but the hostel didn’t seem to care at all. The hostel itself is decent, a little dirty and smelly but would be worth staying at if they took better care of their guests.
