Resort vibes, close to restaurants. Not very social, stayed in a private suite that had bed bugs.

Hubo problemas de agua caliente, cerraron el paso del agua por 10 horas, el desayuno estaba frío e incluía un cabello, el restaurante y el acceso a la playa estaban cerrados. También encontramos chinches y problemas de seguridad, intentaron abrir nuestra maleta. La reserva prometía actividades extra, tales como fiestas en la playa, fogatas y una fiesta con DJ. Sin embargo, ninguna de estas actividades tuvo lugar. Reservamos 4 habitaciones individuales en el hotel, pero nos alojaron a todas en un hostal sin privacidad. La situación fue tan insatisfactoria que decidimos no completar nuestra estancia y marcharnos antes de tiempo, ya que no íbamos a seguir pasando una mala experiencia en una ocasión tan especial. Carente de atención por parte de la supervisora del hotel, no nos dio ninguna solución ni respuesta. No hay medios para comunicarse con el servicio al cliente del hotel, más allá de recepción. Solicitamos su apoyo para recibir un reembolso de esta experiencia, que estuvo muy lejos de lo prometido. Chinches, acceso a playa y restaurante cerrado, sin actividades, desayuno deficiente, falta de seguridad, sin privacidad

The floor of the rooms weren’t clean, shower in the room was not really working, not a very social hostel and think I got bitten bij bedbugs as my whole legs have red spots and mosquitos bites looks different. Kitchen is good and the cafe at the hostel is good. But don’t recommend going here if you want to meet other people as the hostel also doesn’t have activity’s

So much fun! - I want to say that I added this original (5 star) review before I extended my stay and had to move to another room. I got bed bugs in a single micro room. Bit like 20 something times in one night.

Starting off with the pros! Most of the staff were all very nice and helpful, the hostel/hotel is very beautiful and lovely spaces to meet and mingle with people. The bar is a nice atmosphere inside the hostel, hammocks are nice and AC when working is perfect and love the duvets on the beds. Cons - no outside alcohol allowed in the hostel, AC stopped working one night and worker said that was normal at night(it wasn’t), sadly left with some bed bug bits as well! Seems others reviews were correct

My friend had bedbugs in her room. I also did. They switched us to different rooms but it kind of made me feel uncomfortable. The hostel itself was great. If it wasn’t for this experience my rating would be way better.

TERRIBLE PLACE. STAY AWAY Bugs in the bedroom, mold in the bathroom, a leaking air conditioner (we asked to fix it, and they said they did it and nothing changed), and a horrible smell in the room. The parties at night are causing a lot of noise until a very late hour, making sleeping impossible. The price is very high compared to what you get, which is very low quality.

The pool and the location were great. Unfortunately the staff weren’t very helpful, I got eaten alive by bed bugs and overall was a pretty awful two days stay.

Well I thought it was a good experience while I was there, but when I got in the plane I started to get a horrible rash. It spread to my entire body and I had to go to the ER. Turns out there were bugs living in the bed and I got bit. It was a horrible experience and it took me weeks to recover and the scars of the rash is still with me almost 6 months later. BE VERY CAREFUL. My doctor could tell me if it was bed bugs or something else, but it was something biting me in the night! Please don’t be stupid lik

WARNING- NO WATER AT ALL IN THE TOILETS OR SHOWERS FOR DAYS ON END.When the water came back on briefly, it was always cold.Swimming pool not in use for my entire 4 night stay.Staff at reception lied to guests saying it was an issue with the whole island-it clearly wasn’t as cold water was switched on in one bathroom downstairs for the entire hostel to use. They later admitted it was an issue with the hostel’s internal plumbing. Rooms are filthy, stairs to the upper floors are a death trap-narrow, tiny steps and no hand rail. The photos of the private rooms on their website are not only misleading, they’re an outright lie; I booked a private room that looked absolutely nothing like the photo- it was dated, dirty and had worn out ‘furniture’ that looked like it was picked up on the side of the street. I have an upcoming reservation at the Selina Cancún location which I will now be cancelling due to my shocking experience in Isla mujeres-not to mention that there are an alarmingly high number of reviews mentioning bed bugs. My advice is to read all the 1 and 2 star reviews before booking as they will corroborate everything I have written in mine.

This place was terrible they turned the power off as soon as we got there and were laughing at us, refused to show us to ours rooms so they made the roaches do it but at least they let the bedbugs sleep with us❤️

There was bed bugs all over the bed under the sheets and very dirty sheets including had hairs on them and white stays.The towels were extremely dirty as well. When ask staff to switch rooms they at first denied it said there didn't see the probable that they were not dirty that they had just cleaned them which was false 100%. Very rude Customer Service. We have videos and picture of all this. My daughter was bit many time from the bed bugs. The staff after showing them the video proof and pictures they still question it. They tried to cover it up blaming other staff for the problem. Never stay here or if so check for BED BUGS it is horrible.
