My first night was in room 6 which didn’t have a locker and it was a dark, crowded and unpleasant room with bed bugs. I couldn’t sleep the first night and moved to a different room 10 with help from management and had a pleasant experience after that for next 2 nights. This second room had a locker and it was bright, clean and peaceful. Overall it’s a nice place with good staff if you are lucky to get good roommates and better room.

Overall experience is good. 1. Hostel is automated with good followup and pre notifications. 2. We can open doors anytime using phone app which is good 3. They have good service and staff. 4. We have complementary breakfast which is also a plus. 5. Well managed Whatsapp group for daily events and networking. Just Two things can be improved in rooms. 1. They have all sockets on one wall and its better if we can have it next to each bed so we charge phone and devices easily. 2. I faced several marks on my body caused by bed bugs which was really itchy and frustrating. I take good care of my hygiene and take daily shower but still I faced it and due to this I cancelled my chicago’s hostel bookings and booked a hotel as I don't want to face such issue again. If you work on these 2 issues specially bed bugs one then rest every thing is good.

Great stay. Not fancy, but clean and besides of being very safe, this is what matters the most. A not so far walk from the Las Vegas Strip. You just make a right on your way out and go straight ahead. Las Vegas Boulevard is the actual Strip. Also, there are NO bedbugs at all, thankfully! Just the room lockers could be a little bigger. Overall, I would say it’s excellent!

Bed bugs and a homeless man robbed this woman while I was there. He pushed her down and stole her purse. The manager who lives there didn't come out once when the police came in fact the next day he had no idea that a woman got robbed. Her purse gone. She wasnt from the USA so all her credit cards, passport, cell phone all gone. Theres also no cameras on the property so the theif in the end was never identified. The officer came in to question the staff the next day and was shocked to hear there's no surveillance and that the manager didn't even know what happened. The manager is also rude to everyone. It's too bad this place is run by gorillas because some really nice girls work there and are nothing but nice however a smile can't heal bed bug bites or get your wallet back.

Vibe Analysis
Staff-organized Vegas nights are the best reason to look twice at Sin City Hostel: there may be free club access, pool-party runs, Fremont Street outings, BBQ or pasta nights, and a WhatsApp group for daily events and networking. When it works, this is a cheap, scrappy base with friendly front-desk energy and a bit of party fuel. The setup is basic motel-style hostel living rather than polished backpacker heaven. Expect dorms with in-room bathrooms, a kitchen/common room, breakfast, lockers in some rooms, laundry, and paid parking that may be available. Breakfast can be useful but simple, running more toast, waffles, fruit, eggs, yogurt, peanut butter, jelly, coffee, and cookies than health-lab magic. The rough edges are not cosmetic. The surrounding area can feel unsafe, especially after dark or for solo travelers, and the hostel itself can feel inconsistent: kind staff in one moment, cold or rigid handling in another. Beds are a recurring weak spot, with thin mattresses, shaky bunks, noisy frames, few nearby outlets, no bed lights, and top bunks that can be awkward or uncomfortable. Cleanliness and security are real caveats here. Bathrooms, showers, sheets, blankets, kitchen areas, smells, soap, towels, door codes, locks, payment handling, refunds, and late check-in can all be shaky. Sin City can work for a short, budget-first Vegas stop if the social events are running and you have high tolerance for chaos, but this is not the soft landing choice.
