Pisa Train Station Hostel

As 2 female travelers we felt quite unsafe in this hostel. When we booked the only option left was a 6 bed mixed dorm which resulted in our first night being in a room with all men. One of the toilets seats, out of the two bathrooms available, was broken and both bathrooms were very dirty with mold and stains in the showers. The bed looked like it had bed bugs on but the sheets were clean. The location wasn’t the safest and the overall hostel had a creepy vibe to it, didn’t feel safe at all!

Bedbugs is all I have to say… To be fair, the manager immediately cleaned and gave me a full refund, but obviously I had to wash all my clothes, my bag ect so I don’t spread bedbugs all over Italy. Aside from that the rooms are pretty big, but there’s like negative atmosphere here. The area is pretty walkable which is a plus, but again I only stayed one night so I didn’t fully explore.

A bit of a weird vibe in the hostel. Very small and only 1 staff member. Not very social. Was super hot in the bedrooms, our room didn’t lock from the outside and there was a dead bedbug in my friend’s bed
