Wouldn’t recommend, they do offer free drinks for 5* ratings. The lockers not in room and doors don’t lock unless you do people kept forgetting. Woke up coverd in bed bugs bites. The hunter bar is cool to meet people but there are plenty of other hostels nearby that you can stay at and head over to hear if you want. There not really a kitchen to cook. I left after a night the bed was super uncomfortable. Wouldn’t suggest staying here.

Terrible experience from start to finish. We were made to wait 10 minutes to check in on arrival at 1:15am which quickly became 20 minutes due to a shift change. When finally allowed to check in the staff member on duty was incredibly unhelpful and very rude when it came to the payment of our reservation. The QR code payment system was not working and we were repeatedly being told in a very rude and patronising manner that we must leave the hostel and find an ATM. Something we were not keen to do at what was now 1:40am. Once we had overcome this obstacle we were taken to our room. Of the 6 beds in the room 5 had dirty stained sheets and multiple had bed bugs all over them. We were then shown to 2 other rooms which were in exactly the same condition. We were asked if we wanted to cancel our booking and get a refund to which we obliged. Fast forward to the next morning and we receive a message from the hostel after we had inquired about our refund informing us that it would no longer be possible. The hostel claimed that we had lied about the situation of the rooms even thought the receptionist saw the mess of each room and that the staff member on duty was not properly trained to deal with the situation. Still no refund. The only thing we received for the pleasure of this experience was an incredibly passive aggressive message. Avoid at all costs.

the place where you sleep is seperate to the main bar where you check in, felt a bit weird but maybe thats just something we're not familiar with. the bar area was good and open to the public so it was a nice social area to meet people. A lot of the staff were amazing and the volunteers were good, some staff were less helpful. We had bed bugs in our bed so got covered in bites,we told the staff but they said that was normal. Overall wouldnt reccomend staying here but use the bar as the public

Very good one for people that eat somewhere else, because there is no kitchen. There is drinking water everywhere and the people are very nice and open. They have nice offers for going to the beach with somebody that knows where it’s nice. The beds are alright but under the sheets surrounded by plastic. That’s good against bedbugs with sich I had problems elsewhere. Nice spot too with a park and stuf.

After reading through tons of individual reviews (which we should have done in the first place but didn’t have time), it seems that since COVID this place may be under new management/ownership or something. Nothing else would explain the discrepancy between the lovely photos and glowing reviews from several years ago vs. the total dumpster fire we just encountered. Walked into our private room and discovered: - a powerful musty mildew smell - wood furniture covered in mold. Not just a few spots, I mean completely covered like old bread. Never seen that before, didn’t know it was possible actually. - towels and sheets covered in countless mystery stains - a dysfunctional air conditioner that sounded exactly like a video game machine gun sound effect - a mattress that was completely wrapped in grocery store plastic wrap. Also never seen that before. Our first thought was bedbugs, but now I’m thinking maybe it is related to the mold? - aaaand my personal favorite, the pièce de résistance, we pulled back the pillowcase to discover that the pillows themselves were completely covered in black mold! *chefs kiss* Needless to say, shortly after stepping into that little private box of hell we turned around and walked right back out again. Never to return, except maybe in nightmares.
