UPDATE: BEDBUGS!! Avoid this place. Let me start off by saying that I feel badly for writing this review, because it is clear that this camp was built with love, but something has gotten lost in the years between when it was built and now. I paid €90 per night in the high season and this was far too much money for what you are getting. The mosquitoes are unbearable and the nets on the tents have holes in them, so you spend the night being swarmed by insects. While I was staying here, several guests left early because the mosquitoes were so terrible. The staff offers lavender oil to deter the bugs but this is not enough. For €90, Cast Away should at least invest in some basic amenities for guests to make their stay more enjoyable (battery operated fans to keep the bugs off your face at night, for example). There are several other guesthouses right next to the camp so the beach can get crowded during the day, & two showers/two toilets are shared between 15+ people. The beach is beautiful and the staff are so kind, but I’m unclear as to what we are paying €90 euros a night for. I would not recommend the camp to anyone at this price.

Cast Away - Eco resort está justo al lado del mar con aguas claras, vistas al atardecer y un entorno tranquilo y escondido. La playa y la naturaleza circundante son el principal atractivo, y el lugar parece más adecuado para una estancia lenta y al aire libre. El albergue tiene pequeñas cabañas o refugios similares a tiendas de campaña, además de una cocina compartida, baños, bar, barbacoa, horno de pizza, hamacas y muchos lugares para sentarse y relajarse. Se pueden alquilar kayaks, paddleboards y bicicletas, y hay un servicio de transporte para recoger y dejar a horas fijadas. El ambiente puede parecer social, pero también es fácil mantenerse a uno mismo. El propietario y el personal son amables y serviciales, y la propiedad tiene una sensación sencilla y discreta en lugar de una pulida. Funciona bien para los viajeros que quieren vistas al mar, un entorno relajado y un lugar fácil para desconectar.
Señales a revisar
- El acceso es difícil, con un camino de tierra y un túnel estrecho antes de llegar.
- Las cabañas son simples y están juntas, así que la privacidad es limitada.
- Los mosquitos pueden ser un problema, y las redes no siempre son suficientes.
- Los baños y duchas son compartidos, y las instalaciones son sencillas.
