Bedbugs. Check google reviews for accuracy as they cancel your booking when you notify staff of issues to stop you leaving Hostelworld reviews hence the much elevated rating (I had to get Hostelworld to reinstate my ability to review them). Not enough characters to review so check google, the staff are nice enough but people stayed in the room despite my bed bug bites and providing photo of bed bug casing.

Our beds had bed bugs! After demanding that they change our room, they sent us to another room which not only had no sheets on any of the beds, the people staying in the room said they also had bed bugs in those beds. The rooms were extremely damp and dirty. After checking Google reviews, there are quite a few regarding bed bugs. The staff said they would refund our stay given we had to leave the hostel but they have now ignored all contact and refused to refund.

BEDBUGS! We actually quite enjoyed our stay at the hostel, comfy beds, friendly staff, nice social areas, free drinks each evening, buffet breakfast and fun pub crawl however our room had bedbugs and our booking was cancelled a couple hours before check out when our stay was paid for and essentially over, we presume to stop us leaving review on hostel world. Originally staff were helpful immediately moved me to a new bunk (in the same room) and washed all my stuff that had touched the bed for free. They said they would shut down that bunk but a few hours later it was dressed again for next guest (though no one stayed there for at least another 24hrs). They also mentioned that they had just treated that room for bedbugs and that the person in the bunk before me had come from a hostel with them. Unfortunately despite being helpful to us it gave the impression that they have a bedbug issue that isn’t being dealt with properly and being hidden from guests by not letting us leave Hostelworld review.

We stayed here for 5 nights in April and the hostel is good and service and people working are really nice. Unfortunately we did get bedbugs here so maybe something to think about!

BEDBUGS!!! A very nice hostel with super lovely staff who were great our whole stay! Unfortunately we got bedbugs during our stay… we left the 15/4 the same day as we were leaving.

Would like to give this a higher rating because the staff were really kind& helpful. But sadly I found bed bugs after being bitten heavily for 2 nights. Room 209 bed H. Now I wouldn’t recommend it.

I got bed bugs from this place. Be ware and make sure you check your beds beforehand. I should have know since all the rooms smell horribly damp and old.

Overall a fun hostel with a great rooftop and good vibes, but I found three different bed bugs during my stay in room 107
Análisis del ambiente
El bar en la azotea es el principal atractivo: es social, con bares, bebidas antes de salir y una terraza que funciona bien para la puesta de sol o para pasar el rato. El albergue parece especialmente adecuado para viajeros solos. El personal es a menudo amable y servicial, y el desayuno, el agua gratuita, toallas y una ubicación central del Distrito 1 hacen que sea fácil moverse. Las habitaciones son mixtas. Algunas son limpias y cómodas con un aire acondicionado decente, pero otras son básicas, ruidosas o ásperas en los bordes, especialmente en los baños y en las literas superiores.
Señales a revisar
- El ruido puede transmitirse desde la azotea, el área del bar y los pisos principales.
- La limpieza es desigual en algunas habitaciones y baños.
- Algunas camas son muy duras, y las camas superiores pueden ser incómodas de subir.
- No hay ascensor.
- La reserva y el pago pueden ser un desastre, con cancelaciones, reservas excedentes o sorpresas de precios en efectivo.
- Se ha planteado un problema de chinches en algunas habitaciones.
