BEDBUGS! We actually quite enjoyed our stay at the hostel, comfy beds, friendly staff, nice social areas, free drinks each evening, buffet breakfast and fun pub crawl however our room had bedbugs and our booking was cancelled a couple hours before check out when our stay was paid for and essentially over, we presume to stop us leaving review on hostel world. Originally staff were helpful immediately moved me to a new bunk (in the same room) and washed all my stuff that had touched the bed for free. They said they would shut down that bunk but a few hours later it was dressed again for next guest (though no one stayed there for at least another 24hrs). They also mentioned that they had just treated that room for bedbugs and that the person in the bunk before me had come from a hostel with them. Unfortunately despite being helpful to us it gave the impression that they have a bedbug issue that isn’t being dealt with properly and being hidden from guests by not letting us leave Hostelworld review.

The place was okay overall, but I'm almost sure seeing my legs now that my bed was full of bed bugs. Other problem I see is Aircon management, room are fresh and cool but the extractions are in the corridors between the room which make them even hotter and stuffier than the outside with is ridiculous but staff was cool and friendly.

We stayed here for 5 nights in April and the hostel is good and service and people working are really nice. Unfortunately we did get bedbugs here so maybe something to think about!

BEDBUGS!!! A very nice hostel with super lovely staff who were great our whole stay! Unfortunately we got bedbugs during our stay… we left the 15/4 the same day as we were leaving.

Would like to give this a higher rating because the staff were really kind& helpful. But sadly I found bed bugs after being bitten heavily for 2 nights. Room 209 bed H. Now I wouldn’t recommend it.

I got bed bugs from this place. Be ware and make sure you check your beds beforehand. I should have know since all the rooms smell horribly damp and old.

Vibe Analysis
The rooftop bar is the main draw here: it is social, with pub crawls, drinks before heading out, and a terrace that works well for sunset or hanging out. The hostel feels especially suited to solo travellers. Staff are often friendly and helpful, and breakfast, free water, towels, and a central District 1 location make it easy to get around. Rooms are mixed. Some are clean and comfortable with decent AC, but others are basic, noisy, or rough around the edges, especially in the bathrooms and on the upper bunks.

- Cleanliness is uneven in some rooms and bathrooms.
- Some beds are very hard, and top bunks can be awkward to climb.
