Corridors too dark, bed bugs. Racist East Asian staff member looked at me and interacted with me as a PhD educated British brown skinned gay man as if I was inferior to her, management need to care more about staff being racist and rude.

Horrendous and scary place to be in , they have bedbugs, roaches and nasty stuff I was hardly able to take a shower because room smelled like it's a garbage can full of expired tuna inside. I won't ever come there and strongly don't recommend even if it's free !!!

I feel very conflicted about this hostel. The shared dorms were segregated in a way that offered privacy and personal space. The bathroom facilities are located within the dorms and cleaned regularly. My friend and I stayed at Bastardo for four nights; However, on the last night, my friend decided to flip over her pillow for the first time to find disturbing blood stains on the pillow. The stain looks too large to be related to bed bugs, but regardless, we were both shocked to find this. It clearly shows that the pillow case was not changed before our arrival, which suggests there is a serious concern with the level of hygiene at this hostel. We really enjoyed our stay at Bastardo until finding these disturbing blood stains. If you do decide to stay here, please check your bedding.

Bastardo Hostel te pone en el centro de Madrid, cerca de Malasaña, Fuencarral, enlaces de metro, comida, bares, y a pocos pasos de la Puerta del Sol. La ubicación es la ganancia más limpia aquí: fácil acceso a la ciudad, calles animadas y mucho cerca sin necesidad de un plan de transporte complicado. La planta baja tiene un bar/restaurante, energía en terraza, música y comida y bebida en el sitio. El albergue también tiene actividades, incluyendo noches de estilo pub, juegos de bebida y programación cultural, por lo que puede adaptarse mejor a un viaje más joven, social y orientado a la fiesta que a una misión de recarga tranquila. Las habitaciones son la compensación. Las camas pueden ser cómodas y algunas habitaciones tienen aire acondicionado. El lugar tiene un diseño negro audaz y un concepto de dormitorio de hotel, aunque la configuración real del dormitorio puede parecer más funcional para dormir que para instalarse.

- Esta es una elección arriesgada para los que duermen poco: ruido del pasillo, ruido de la calle, ruido de habitación en habitación, y el bar de abajo puede llegar tarde.
- Las habitaciones pueden ser muy pequeñas, oscuras, cálidas, mal ventiladas y con poco espacio para equipaje.
- La limpieza no es constante, especialmente en los baños, duchas, sábanas, pisos y áreas debajo de la cama.
- El servicio puede ser desigual, desde el apoyo en el registro y el manejo de reservas hasta la atención en el bar / restaurante.
- El desayuno, las toallas, los armarios, la ropa, el estacionamiento y los sistemas basados en QR pueden parecer poco claros, limitados o demasiado caros.
