My colleagues and I booked to spend a night on the 26th August 2023. We were a group of 12. 7 of us shared a room of 8 and were bitten by bedbugs. It was a terrible experience. None of us have ever seen a bedbug before. We called the owner at around 4am when we realised we were all experiencing something biting and we were itchy. They were on our bedsheets, clothes and ceiling. I feel traumatised and itchy all over thinking about it.

Bed bugs infestation, poor hygiene the bed rooms,duvet cover and pillows smells terrible the toilets and shower are not clean. The whole place needs cleaning and updating.

Pretty sure this place had BEDBUGS - didn't notice when staying but since being home I'm COVERED in red itchy bites - bed bug bites can takes days up to 2 weeks before showing. Im almost certain I got bit during my stay here and only now are the bites showing up. Not only this but it wasn't that clean, ran out of toilet roll often, blocked sinks, the shower on my floor smelt vile so I had to use one on a different floor. Breakfast was basic cereal and toast self service. No plug sockets in or near beds so habe tk charge the other end of the room and either be awake whilst it charges or risk it being stolen.

Il bar nel seminterrato è il pezzo che spicca: un hangout locale cozy con musica live, open mic nights, cocktail, birre ben tenute e cibo thai dal cafe di Su. Dà a Ty Glyndwr più pulsazione comunitaria di una semplice bunkhouse. La posizione è super centrale a Caernarfon, dentro le mura della città vecchia e vicino a castello, waterfront, fermate bus, pub, ristoranti, alimentari, Iceland e Asda. Può funzionare come base pratica per Snowdonia in bus, giornate di trekking e giri in paese senza pianificare troppo. Su e il team danno al posto un feeling caldo e personale, con uno stile utile e accogliente che si adatta al setup da piccola casa. Le camere sono generalmente pulite e semplici, con letti comodi; il setup dormitorio più nuovo può includere luci individuali e punti di ricarica. La colazione è di solito continentale e può essere abbastanza generosa prima di una giornata a camminare. La camera familiare può essere una scelta forte, con un layout loft spazioso, una zona salotto separata ed extra utili come frigo, tè, caffè o un piccolo ensuite a seconda della camera.

- Il rumore può essere un problema, soprattutto dalla musica nel seminterrato, dal traffico del sabato sera in città, dalle porte e dagli arrivi tardivi.
- Dormitori e camere mansardate possono sembrare caldi, stretti o poco ventilati.
- Bagni e docce sono basici; le docce a pulsante possono non avere controllo temperatura, e la pressione dell'acqua può essere debole ai piani alti.
- Non c'è una vera cucina self-catering o un setup con frigo pubblico, e il parcheggio non è dedicato.
- Serrature, chiavistelli, armadietti, deposito bagagli e sicurezza delle camere possono essere irregolari.
