I had a very terrible stay at this hostel. i could careless about the whole renovation things, i spend the night in the kitchen on the chairs the dorms are infested with bedbugs big time there everywhere. theirs should shut down temporarily and deal with the matter ASAP... this is serious my body still bruised and itchy from the ordeal I've spend the night killing bedbugs dozens at the time from the wall to the bed frame and mattress there was blood all over the sheet 🦠🪳🤒

Avoid this hostel! Poor hygiene, damaged facilities, ongoing construction work and serious cleanliness concerns, including suspected bed bugs. The worst part was getting my £20 deposit back. My messages were repeatedly ignored, promises were broken, and I only received my refund after numerous complaints and threats to escalate the matter to Hostelworld. Extremely unprofessional management and unacceptable treatment of guests. I would never stay here again. Strongly NOT recommended!

I really liked the location and the way the staff welcomed me. Eventhough the works are ongoing, they do their best to keep the property clean I didn't like the fact that there were bedbugs in my room

Great location, friendly staff, kitchen and cooking facilities available. Room is infested with bed bugs. My arms and legs look like pin cushions. Room has too many beds pushed next to each other. I wish I could be more positive as all else is great but they need to get the male dorm sprayed with insecticide.

How the people in my room hated the guy who served me . Everything, the manager or the guy who works there, so ignorant and arrogant, talks very condescending to me and others, such a poor behaviour middle age man, even I have better manner than him. I also got bed bugs.
Analisi dell'atmosfera
R S Hostels e' un crash pad molto centrale a Leeds, vicino a stazione ferroviaria, city centre, collegamenti bus e venue nei dintorni. Funziona meglio come tappa economica e breve quando la posizione conta piu' della rifinitura. Il setup basico puo' includere un letto pulito, ingresso a codice, una piccola cucina e cibo semplice gratuito come toast, cereali, latte, te' e caffe', a volte disponibile anche oltre l'orario colazione. Il posto e' ancora in piena modalita' ristrutturazione, e questo modella tutto il soggiorno. Parti dell'edificio possono sembrare non finite, con materiali da cantiere, superfici nude, scale o aree superiori ancora in lavorazione, e le foto possono sembrare piu' finite della realta' attuale. La cucina e' una delle parti piu' utili dell'ostello: piccola, funzionale e fornita con basi semplici per colazione self-service. Lo staff puo' essere molto presente e utile, soprattutto con arrivi tardivi, cambi camera, chiacchiere locali e tenere il posto in funzione, anche se servizio e comunicazione sono incostanti. I bagni sono il punto di attrito piu' grande. WC e docce possono essere su un piano diverso dalle camere, i cubicoli sono molto stretti, le docce possono essere scomode a pulsante, e ganci o ripiani spesso mancano. I dorm possono sembrare angusti, con poco deposito, niente armadietti, poche prese accanto al letto, niente tende privacy e temperatura o flusso d'aria variabile.
Segnali da controllare
- La ristrutturazione in corso e' una parte reale dell'esperienza, non un piccolo problema cosmetico.
- Bagni e docce possono essere stretti, al piano di sopra, non finiti o scomodi da usare.
- Lo spazio deposito nei dorm e' limitato, e gli armadietti potrebbero non essere disponibili.
- Pulizia, biancheria, comunicazione dello staff e affidabilita' del check-in sono incostanti.
- L'ostello si adatta piu' a una notte economica vicino alla stazione di Leeds che a una base sociale da backpacker.
