I loved this place. Stayed 3 nights. Really cool spot, super social with many events. The rooms were great, and the facilities were amazing. Food was decent, convenient with a bar available. Locals worked here. Location is not the best, and you have to walk down many steps to get to the hostel. But the view from the hostel is stunning! Laundry literally next door. Dive school also next door. Unfortunately, I got bed bugs the first night, I spoke with the front desk to ask for another bed and was switched immediately.

Nice hostel and the staff were lovely. Good social area and nice views of sunset. I was put in a basement room which was dark, and the ac was only on from 7pm-11an so it got quite hot in there. Also woke up with about 50 small bites, so there’s either bed bugs or insects in the room.

Analisi dell'atmosfera
Outpost Beach Hostel sta proprio sull'acqua a El Nido, con viste tramonto che fanno molto del lavoro pesante. L'attrazione principale e' il setup sociale: giochi serali, trivia, drinking events, tour dell'ostello, un'area bar piena e un grande spazio condiviso che rende facile viaggiare da soli se l'obiettivo e' conoscere gente in fretta. L'energia dello staff e' una parte enorme del posto, con nomi come EJ, Jasmine, Maya, Edna, Kim, JC, Mia, Ejay e Mayan legati a check-in calorosi, aiuto e mood amichevole. L'ostello e' meglio per viaggiatori con cervello da party che per modalita' quiet reset. Musica, microfoni, karaoke e drinking games possono andare forte, e le aree comuni possono sembrare intense quando il programma serale e' acceso. Camere e bagni possono essere puliti e comodi, con buona aria condizionata in alcuni punti, letti comodi in alcuni punti e bagni spaziosi in alcuni punti, ma il setup e' incostante: il Wi-Fi potrebbe non arrivare alle camere, il segnale mobile puo' sparire, le docce possono essere fredde, l'acqua puo' interrompersi e storage o ganci intorno a letti e docce possono essere limitati. L'accesso alla spiaggia e' parte del fascino e parte della seccatura. Con l'alta marea, l'acqua puo' arrivare ai gradini, i bagagli possono bagnarsi e il percorso sul retro puo' sembrare buio, ruvido o scomodo. La posizione e' scenica ma non centrale, quindi El Nido town di solito significa tuk-tuk, scooter, shuttle o una camminata collinare. La vista spiaggia e' forte; nuotare direttamente davanti potrebbe non essere il punto. Cibo, tour e comodita' sono disponibili in loco, cosa utile perche' l'ostello sta lontano dalla citta'. Quella comodita' puo' diventare costosa, e le policy su cibo esterno, acqua, lavanderia, costi dei tour e rimborsi possono sembrare piu' rigide o meno trasparenti del previsto. Vieni per tramonti, slancio sociale rapido e una base rumorosa beachfront; saltalo se il viaggio richiede notti quiete, accesso facile alla citta' o strutture prevedibili.
